Cohen’s Cove – Chandos Lake
Richard and Tamara came to us to build their custom dream cottage, allowing us to redefine rustic in a beachy and airy way. Ample windows let the natural light pour in and the warm summer air breeze through. The family has ample space to relax and entertain. We paired timeliness stone with the farmhouse style to give this home unique character.
Muskokan Elegance
We built this stylish custom living space on Skeleton Lake. This home achieves the perfect balance between the cozy rustic feel you’d expect from a cottage, and the sleek and elegant look of an urban space.
Lake Rosseau Retreat
The homeowner, Les, lives in Colorado but wanted to build a summer home on Lake Rosseau. His vision was a dream escape from suburbia that reflected the rugged Colorado spirit, full of timber and post and beams. We we’re up for the challenge. To make sure we matched the right materials, we travelled to Colorado. We selected reclaimed wood and built a timber frame with a modern Vail-esque style to distinguish the home from typical post and beam looks. We opened up the layout and added more parking to facilitate entertaining.
Rustic Muskoka in the Pines
You won’t see any knotty pine in this rustic home in the Muskoka region. Achieving a perfect blend of rustic and modern, this home features several rooms, each with unique character. The finished product included two rooms to let the homeowners feel like they’re truly outside–a sunroom for soaking in the view with a cup of coffee and a posh stone bar room–both with floor to ceiling windows.
Contemporary Muskokan Glass House
Cottages are typically well known for being cozy and chic with lots of wood and wild accents. So we jumped at the opportunity to rewrite the rules with an incredibly contemporary and minimalistic home on the shores of Lake Joseph. This home is as aesthetic as it gets–fully encased in expansive windows to reveal the lake views and hints of glamour evident in the tiled design.
