Our Spotlight in Business View Magazine
We make it no secret how dedicated we are to our clients and projects over here at Gilbert + Burke, but it’s always a massive honour to be spotlighted. Last month, Business View Magazine featured our Gilbert + Burke team, talking with our leadership about our business, processes, and projects.
In the feature, you can read about everything from our history all the way to the methods we’ve used to keep running during the COVID-19 pandemic. We were also able to talk about some of the most unique (and sometimes tough) parts about building in cottage country, which — rocky terrain and water aside — is one of our absolute favourite spots to build and finish out projects.
As a client-based builder always focused on making sure our clients are overjoyed with their builds, it was fun to chat with Business View about how we run our business and our projects with that goal in mind. We’re not blind to the idea that we’re fortunate to have the business and the clients we do, and we’ll take any chance to brag on our clients and the incredible projects they help us dream up. By putting our clients, the environment and luxurious finishes first, we’ll always deliver.
Our founder, Randy, put it best: “Our agenda is nothing other than delivering what clients ask for, with integrity, while making a living. If you ask for high end, that’s what you pay for. If you ask for the middle of the road, or have more moderate expectations, then the price will reflect that. So, I’d like to be able to overcome the notion that Gilbert + Burke is ‘expensive’ as some perceive. We’re not expensive, we’re competitive in the space we operate in, and we give people exactly the beautiful results that they ask for. It’s all about perception.”
