PROJECT QUESTIONNAIRE:

By committing to this build/renovation you are creating a space or improving one that you already have. It is important that we can understand what exactly you are looking for and want at the end of this process. Each section allows for input of photos and comments of the design ideas you have your eye on for that particular piece of your project. We ask for this information so that we can be sure we completely understand what your wants, ideas and needs are. Please provide any and all information you can to the sections. This detail may include material, color, grain, finish, etc. No detail is too small! If you are not sure, leave the item blank and we can discuss the item and options with you later. Ignore any items that do not pertain to your project.

If you are having trouble putting your dreams into words or finding what you’re looking for, try looking on one of our social media links for some inspiration.

GOALS AND OBJECTIVES FOR YOUR PROJECT:
In order to help us best plan for your design and budget, please list the top 5 outcomes that building this project will achieve for your family and lifestyle:
FAMILY & OCCUPANTS
We want everyone to enjoy the space that you are investing in and we want them to be happy and healthy. We would like to know what the primary function of the space will be and who will be using it the most.
PLEASE CHOOSE ALL THAT ARE APPLICABLE:
LIFESTYLE
The style of a space should be reflective of the occupants, their lifestyle, hobbies and things that they love. It should be a comfortable space where they feel proud.

Initial Design Questionnaire 1

ARCHITECTURAL STYLE
Consider how you want the building to appear in the location it will be built/renovated. Is there a special characteristic of the property that you fell in love with and want highlighted in the build? Does your architectural style compliment or contrast the landscape?
WHAT STYLE OF BUILD ARE YOU LOOKING FOR? CHOOSE ALL THAT APPLY OR INTEREST YOU:

EXTERIOR FINISH/ CLADDING:
The exterior finishes typically will be a direct reflection of the architecture. The cladding can help the building to blend into the environment or starkly contrast it. The cladding can also be a key feature in how the building weathers and ages with time.

INTERIOR STYLE:
The interior should be a direct reflection of your personality and the function of the spaces. Beautiful spaces are lived in and loved in all their glory. “Be faithful to your own taste, because nothing you really like is ever out of style” - Billy Baldwin
INTERIOR COLOUR:
Colour is an important aspect of an interior. The colors should come together to compliment the overall atmosphere and use of the space. Colour can also be used to make a statement, whether it be a bold punch or lack thereof, they both should be explored and not feared.
INTERIOR MATERIALS:
Materiality is the piece of design that flexes our sense of sight, touch and hearing. First we see a material, then we experience it physically, then we experience the acoustics through the materials within the space. Consider walking on a carpeted floor, you experience the softness of the carpet and your steps are muffled by the padded surface Materials can influence the atmosphere of a room and change the users experience.
INTERIOR: PERSONAL PIECES
It is important that when the build/renovation process is done that the space feels like your own. Incorporating pieces that you already own is a great way to do so. But, this is also a great time to get that special piece you have been eyeing or start fresh and create the space of your dreams.
IF APPLICABLE PLEASE PROVIDE AN IMAGE AND BASIC DIMENSIONS OF PIECE
