20 years have brought lots of milestones to the Gilbert + Burke team, and quite a bit of media attention.

During the last 20 years as one of the premier home builders and designers in Ontario Cottage Country, we’ve been lucky to have support and recognition to propel us forward. From media attention to awards, we’ve done our best to build a business that we can all be proud of. By focusing on our clients, effective communication, on sustainability and on quality work, our business stands tall today as a reflection of the work we’ve put in for each and every one of our homes.

Over our time in business, we’ve been an annual award winner at the PKHBA Awards of Excellence. Most recently, we received the prestigious award of Renovator of the Year at the PKHBA Awards, as well as the awards for Best Bathroom over $30K and Best Renovation under $200K and best Custom Home 2000-3500SF. We were also honoured by Lt. Gov. David Onley for our commitment to accessibility in the community, which was a big deal for us. We stand by our sustainability practices, and consider sustainability one of the most important pieces of our business. While you can see all of our awards in the office, we’ve also been lucky to receive numerous awards for favourite contractor/renovator and the like in the local paper.

While each award and piece of notable media attention is exciting for us, it’s nothing compared to the work we’ve been able to build and design with our clients. The recognition is fantastic, but the passion and excitement we feel from each project, build and remodel reaches far past that.
